
The new MacPro is Apple’s newest edition to their Laptop/PC range. The ‘Tower’ base model starts at £5,499 and the ‘Rack’ model starts at £5,999. The top-spec model would come with: a 28-core Intel Xeon W Processor, 8TB of storage, 1.5TB of DDR4 ECC in 12 DIMM slots, AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo, 8 PCI Express Expansion Slots, an Apple Afterburner ProRes and a Frame with wheels instead of feet* (see https://www.apple.com/mac-pro/specs/ for even more info). However all of that comes at a hefty price of £48,668 for the ‘Tower’ model and £48,659 for the ‘Rack’ model.
You can by your own screen for the MacPro but Apple sell their own 32″ 6K, 1,600 nits bright with a contrast ratio of 1000000:1 display called the Pro Display XDR. The display comes with two screen finish option; a standard glass screen or a nano-textured screen, which reduces glare by an impressive amount. The standard glass screen is priced at £4,599 and the nano-textured display is price at £5,499.
The screen unfortunately doesn’t come with a stand to support so you then have to purchase the Apple Pro Stand retailing at £949. This stand is smooth, flawless way to move and support your display. Another cheaper option is to buy a VESA Pro Mount (£190) which will allow you to attach the display to an articulating arm, wall mount (10cmx10cm), desk mount or stand.

The new Apple Watch Series 5 is Apples latest edition to it’s smart watch range. This year the watch has a big upgrades to it and huge customization to it. Apple give you the experience when purchasing from their website to choose different colors and materials for the casing and a huge selection bands. There are still the usual specs to choose from, a 42 or 44mm screen and a GPS or GPS+Cellular, there’s 4 materials of case (aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, ceramic). The stainless steel and aluminium come in 3 colors (space grey, gold and silver), the titanium comes in space black and titanium and the ceramic only comes in white.
